1. Who we are and what this covers
Edge Shore Technologies LLC (1030 Salem Rd, Union, NJ 07083-7058-309, USA) owns and operates the Speedlr platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, marketing activities and the Speedlr application.
When we provide the platform to a customer organization, that organization is the controller (or business) of the data its users submit, and we act as processor (service provider) under our Data Processing Agreement. For our website, demo requests and account administration, we act as controller.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and business details you provide: name, company, role, work email, phone, and the content of demo requests or support messages.
- Account data: user profile, permissions, authentication events and audit logs.
- Customer content: project, work order, field, asset and invoicing records your organization submits, which may include employee or site-contact details.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric or financial account data) and ask customers not to submit them through the Services.
3. How and why we use it
- Provide, operate, secure and support the Services and honor our contracts.
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain audit trails.
- Respond to demo requests, sales inquiries and support tickets.
- Improve reliability and features using aggregated and de-identified usage analytics.
- Send service and security notices, and — with an opt-out — relevant business communications.
- Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies)
- Performance of a contract: delivering the Services and account administration.
- Legitimate interests: securing the platform, product improvement, and B2B marketing to business contacts.
- Consent: non-essential cookies and analytics, and marketing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and lawful requests from authorities.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our infrastructure and support may be located in the US and other countries. Where personal data is transferred from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where relevant) together with supplementary technical and organizational measures such as encryption in transit and at rest and access controls.
7. Retention
- Customer content: retained for the subscription term and deleted or de-identified within 30 days after termination, unless a longer period is required by law or agreed in writing.
- Account and audit logs: typically retained up to 12 months to support security investigations.
- Sales and marketing contacts: retained until you opt out or after 24 months of inactivity.
- Billing and tax records: retained for the period required by applicable law, generally seven years.
8. Security
We maintain an information security program aligned to ISO/IEC 27001 and the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, logging and monitoring, change management, backups, vendor review and a documented incident response process. No system is completely secure; we notify affected customers of confirmed personal data breaches without undue delay and in line with applicable law and the DPA. Report a suspected issue to security@speedlr.com.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising (we do neither), and to appeal a decision. US state privacy laws including the CCPA/CPRA, and the Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and other state statutes, may apply to you.
Submit a request to privacy@speedlr.com. We verify requests using the information we already hold and respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 45 days in the US, one month under GDPR). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your data was submitted by a customer organization, we will refer your request to that organization and support them in responding.
10. Children
The Services are business tools and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we learn we have, we delete it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date and, where required, communicated directly. For privacy questions contact privacy@speedlr.com or write to Edge Shore Technologies LLC, 1030 Salem Rd, Union, NJ 07083-7058-309, USA.
